The Robin Boyd Foundation is the custodian of the legacy of Robin Boyd and the iconic Walsh Street house he designed, built, and inhabited. The Foundation is renowned for its innovative design-focused house tours, programs and events that activate and increase community awareness, dialogue, understanding and participation in Australian architecture and design.
Established in 2005, with support from the Boyd family and the National Trust of Victoria, the late Hon. Gough Whitlam was the Foundation’s inaugural Patron. Today it is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and governed by a Board of Directors, including a Boyd family representative. The work of the Foundation is supported by the Boyd Circle, Partners, Donors, Friends, and our vital volunteers.
