Tickets can be purchased via the Craft Victoria website here.
General: $30
Boyd Circle / RBF Friends: $20

Simone Tops / Studio Tops was established in 2017 and is based in Naarm. Founded on the principles of longevity, craftsmanship, and a cross-disciplinary approach Top’s studio brings together a technical knowledge of glass, steel and leatherwork to create both sculptural and architectural forms, as well as a range of hand-crafted sculptural leather bags which honour the qualities of these materials. For artist and maker Simone Tops, materials are not merely passive recipients of form, but active agents in the process of becoming. The objects are a result of the artist’s material experimentation which is shaped by an intimate technical knowledge of glass, steel, and leatherwork. These materials do not have fixed essences, rather they run in a continuum, matter into matter, surface into surface and form into form.

Adriana Hanna is a director of architecture at Kennedy Nolan, having joined the studio in 2007 she has made a significant contribution to the culture and aesthetic of the practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge about contemporary design, art, architecture and material, as well as valuable documentation and administration experience to each new project. Working across residential, commercial, hospitatlity and retail projects her approach is characterised by a meticulous attention to elegant detail and a focus on delivering high quality-built outcomes. Adriana has been actively involved in the Australian Institute of Architects as both a juror and jury chair along with other various design award programs. She is currently a Victorian Branch Councillor for the Design Institute of Australia.

This event is delivered in partnership with Craft Victoria.
This event is generously supported by Konpira Maru Wines and Molly Rose Brewing.
