Presenters

Edwin Fox

Edwin runs Edwin Fox Furniture, an independent restoration and furniture store. Specialising in mid-century, he hopes that through his work to connect the importance of sustainability, reducing waste while working with inspiring objects from the past.

Edwin has a background in art and design, including a National Vocational Qualification in traditional upholstery. Edwin has channeled his skills and energy into the physical aspects of design, whereby his career has now evolved into the restoration of furniture here in Melbourne.

Richard Lloyd

Richard is a skilled restorer and finisher of mid-century furniture based in Northcote. With a background in automotive refinishing and experience working at Maton Guitars, he has honed his expertise in restoration and conservation. Richard takes pride in reviving tired pieces of furniture and preserving them for future generations.

Richard’s business is MCM Restoration Man, and is a passionate collector of mid-century pieces. Richard offers a bespoke approach to each project with a focus on high-quality materials and finishes. He uses the environmentally friendly OSMO hard-wax oil for a natural, non-toxic finish.

Terms & Conditions

  • Tickets refundable up to 72 hours prior to the event
  • Tickets may be transferred to another name, but we must be notified in advance of name changes.
  • Attendees must be 16 years and over.
  • No external food or drink should be brought into the house.
  • Large bags and backpacks will need to be checked in at entry.
