The University of Melbourne Architecture, Building and Planning Library with the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning present an exhibition of student work that reimagines Boyd’s contentious book, ‘The Australian Ugliness’. The exhibition aligns with the Faculty’s ‘BE:150 – Celebrating 150 years of Built Environment education’.
The students of Dr Derham Groves’ ‘Popular Architecture and Design’ will consider Boyd’s classic text: its influence, its role in evolving design debate, and future possibilities.
