Boyd was appointed Exhibits Architect for the Australian Pavilion at Expo ‘67 in Montreal and Expo ‘70 in Osaka. His slides reveal his fascination with the unconventional architecture of many national pavilions. Join Professor Philip Goad to view Expo ‘67 and ‘70 through Boyd’s camera lens.
Since 2014, the Walsh Street Archive has been catalogued, researched, digitised, and conserved by a team of Robin Boyd Foundation volunteers. It contains over 4000 items: the readily visible library, furniture and artwork collection alongside hidden treasures including manuscripts, correspondence, slides, films, architectural drawings, and newspaper clippings. In celebration of the launch of the Walsh Street Archive online through Victorian Collections, our slide nights offer a rich insight into the Archive’s 1500+ slides taken by Boyd.
