Exhibit your work at Walsh Street
OPEN CALL OUT

EXHIBITION PARTICIPANT BRIEF:

Walsh Street is always alive with ideas – a space of writing, drawing, art, eating, drinking, exchange and conversation. Celebrating 20 years of the Robin Boyd Foundation, House Show will bring discourse and process back to residence.

We invite you to submit for display the work in your studio, on your drawing board, or in your model room – works in progress, ideas in development, prototypes and speculative projects – the bigger, the better. Your work will be displayed as part of a group show at Walsh Street for 1 week this summer when the residence will again host work, conversation and contestation about what is happening now and how it might shape what will happen next.

WHO CAN SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST?

We welcome and will accept expressions of interest from current Victorian residents at all levels of career: student, emerging, mid-career and established, who identify as practising in one of the following fields: architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, writing / criticism, interior design, industrial design, furniture design, graphic design, ceramics, textiles, painting, sculpture or photography.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

The curatorial committee will assess the merit of each Entry against the following Criteria:
1. Engagement with the brief.
2. Engagement with new ideas regarding the built environment and landscape.
3. Work creation date must be between 2004 and 2024.
4. Suitability for display at Walsh Street/Boyd House II.
