Tess Kelly framed print
“Boyd’s interest in connecting the natural environment into the built form is beautifully highlighted in this project. The sweeping fluid
roofline is instantly captivating. The timber panelling of the roof warmly encases the upstairs room, drawing your eyes through the glass
windows, into the courtyard and beyond.
This is a quiet image, a simple moment capturing beautiful reflections and shadows at play on and through the glass facades. It speaks
about the ageing of the building and its connection to the natural environment that has grown alongside the house.”
