With good design, together we can make the world a better place.
Our Foundation supporters and partners make it possible for the foundation to develop and deliver education programs that encourage a wider understanding of the value of design and how design can improve our world.
We would like to express our extreme gratitude to our contributors for their generous support of the Robin Boyd Foundation.
These organisations and individuals understand the importance of conserving Walsh Street as a National Historic Landmark and of sharing Robin Boyd’s work and legacy with the world. Their generous contributions and in-kind creativity have enabled us to transition Walsh Street from a family home into a Foundation. As a result of this support, the Foundation is able to maintain Walsh Street and offer programming which continues this legacy of educating the public on the value of good design.

We would like to especially thank our Volunteer Tour Leaders Kate Drew, Andrea Dudley, Glenda McIntyre, Eva Ouano, and Stuart Tolliday.
Garden Conservation and Maintenance Support
A Copland Trust grant is enabling us to assess the gardens at Walsh Street and devise a strategy for the conservation and maintenance. The Foundation also works with a keen group of architects, landscapers and engineers to maintain and conserve Robin Boyd’s modernist home and grounds.
Thank you to Amanda Oliver Gardens, John Patrick Landscape Architects, Leonie Beaton, Joel Comeli, Michael Ellis, and Boyd Circle members Jenny Rizo from Inarc Architects and Rob Watson from Watson Architecture.
The collections team have been meeting since 2014, cataloguing the Walsh Street furniture, artworks, books and manuscripts. This catalogue will form the basis of searchable interactive websites.
