Public Programs
Volunteers assisting with public programs can expect to be helping at events such as music performances, book launches, exhibitions and symposiums. Our volunteers are briefed by the team and provided with everything they need to feel confident on the day. These events appear frequently in our calendar, are varied in nature and are a lot of fun.
Open Days
A few times a year the foundation runs Open Days at significant contemporary and historic locations. Volunteers are an essential to their success and perform a range of roles including invigilation, book sales and assisting visitors with ticketing and registration.
DADo Film Society
Volunteers for the DADo Film Society work in a small team to program architecture and design films that are screened at Walsh Street. The group curates, plans and delivers the season of films each introduced by an academic or practitioner. The Evenings with DADo run on Tuesday nights, with 7 screenings in the annual calendar.
Volunteering Form
Graduate Internships or Student placements
Unfortunately we currently do not have capacity for formal internships or placements, but volunteering with us is a rewarding opportunity to network and learn. The Robin Boyd Foundation wants to work with students who are studying architecture, design, cultural management and related fields looking for practical experience working in a non-profit cultural organisation.
